We leave Saturday for a week on St. John! Getting really excited as this will be our first trip there.

Our return flight leaves at 3:30pm, it sounds like we should get to the airport no later than 1:30pm (and maybe a little earlier as we're travelling with small children). We've rented our vehicle from the airport so we'll be taking the car ferry back to STT sometime Saturday morning. Should we try to do a little sightseeing on STT before we leave? Maybe drive to Drake's seat or Mountaintop or take the tram to Paradise Point for an early lunch?

I want to make sure we have plenty of time to get to the airport without any stress. How much time should we allow? Directions would be appreciated...

Thanks,
Keri

Great Idea!
When renting your car in STT - be sure to get a STT Map to help you get around! I would leave STJ at what you would consider a comfortable time, not racing to leave, take the ferry over and go from there! I definitely think Mountain Top is a must as there is no charge to get in and the view sias it all! Stop at the over look at Saphire Beach resort, heading East from Red Hook (not far) turn in the entrance and then a immediate right just past the Saphire sign. Parking on your left to see that view- Awesome! You can stop at Drakes Seat, but the view from Mountain Top is better as it is higher and the over look above town is a must too! You should have plenty of time to see enough and then you could stop for a quick bite to eat at Tickles in Sub- base, Crown Bay Marina before going to the airport!
STJ is awesome, but STT has alot to offer too. ENJOY!
