One thing, among many :P, that I will not claim to be familiar with is tide patterns in the Caribbean. Heck, living in SoCal was almost 30 years ago, so I don't even remember how they ran there! We don't see much tide activity on the Mississippi.

Is there much of a high tide and low tide in the USVI? I sure didn't see much of a variation on the beach we played on the most. Maybe that's something that varies the closer to, and the farther you get from, the equator? I had thought about looking up tide tables while we were down there; that's one more thing I never got 'Round-2-It'.

Here is the tide for Magens Bay side: http://www.irbs.com/tides/locations/3149.html

And here is the tide for the Benner Bay side: http://www.irbs.com/tides/locations/451.html

Because we sit between the Atlantic and the Caribbean, we have two tide tables. But the tides are pretty small because we are so close to the equator.

Thanks EE! Small wonder I wasn't seeing much variation! From your links I also found tide information for C.A.
