hi we are looking to rent three palms villa in petorborg in feb and would like some feedback if possible. website looks great as villa appears to sit 100ft above the water with just awesome views. also would like to know about this area of island in general such as access to ca and restaurants and grocery near the villa. we usually rent over on st john in hart bay but this villa looked really nice so we decided to maybe book it but looking for general info on this area and maybe if someone has rented this home. thanks!!!!!
I've never rented the villa you're interested in, but live just across Magen's Bay from Peterborg. I look at it everytime I look out the windows.
Peterborg is a fairly secluded part of the island. It isn't really close to much of anything except for Magen's Bay Beach. Getting to town will probably take about 15 to 20 minutes and there are no grocery stores nearby. Probably the closest market will be Mandahl market which has basic supplies and a little bit more, but it isn't really a store to stock up in.
Indigo, a restaurant which gets lots of attention on this board and rightfully so, is a short drive away.
Also, if you like ice cream, you'll be really close to Udder Delight!
