It is reasonable and looks good. Here's probbaly why it is reasonable...

the pool is a plunge pool (small)

the home is actualy 3 bedrooms with a separate cottage housing the 4th

the bedrooms don't apprear to have sliders opening onto decks (which is a desired feature)

The bedrooms (aside from the master) seem to be smaller than what you'll find in most lux villas ( in one pic, the bed is pushed against the closet door??)

The patio chairs are plastic

The LR and DR area is a little smaller than some of the lux villas
(and the living area isn't open to the air - which is good because rain comes into villas facing north on Peterborg -I've had the experience of a soaked floor from a sudden storm when staying in a home in this area)

All that being said, it looks like a decent deal. It really isn't THAT cheap. It seems fairly priced. This area of STT is full of really lux villas with large pools and plush decor. This one is fair for what you get.

thanks, you always have such timely answers. two middle agers and 3 grown young adults so we need 3 bedrooms. planning on using as a base and not spending much time at villa. maybe mornings and late evenings. so much to show kids, so many beaches to see plus St Johns. thanks again!

Good choice Ed. You might even be able to walk to the beach, depending on exactly where on Peterborg this one is. Some are close to the little private beaches or sand pockets along the south side of Peterborg. Those beaches have the clearest water and whitest sand on the entire island.

The views from this villa look beautiful!! You're right Ed, the price seems quite reasonable for what you get. I can't make up my mind about where to stay for a few nights in St Thomas before we go to St John for a week in June. I've been torn between Sapphire Beach and Secret Harbour and now I find myself considering this villa...I need to stop reading these boards!! 🙂
