I read this message board on a regular basis and I thank you for sharing your experiences and valuable opinions. I haven't posted before as I haven't had anything valuable to contribute- but I'm hoping that someone has cruised with Three Moon Yachts?? I am considering a week-long cruise through the USVI and BVI but I am skeptical as I have not found any reviews.... I have visited the USVI once before but I'm looking to experience the islands in a different way.

Thanks for your help and Happy New Year!

Are you working with a charter broker? S/he should be able to help you pick the best yacht and crew to match your specific desires.

New Englander:

Contact Captain Omar at Interlinesail. He advertises here on VINOW under Yacht Vacations. We used him in September 2006.

I copied his ad for you.......

Looks like a nice boat though I don't know it personally. I would have to second the opinion about a good yacht broker. I have used Sandra Bajor at Bajor Yachts in Red Hook her and her husband are residents of St Thomas and know all of the local boats. http://www.bajoryachts.com/

I can also personally vouch for the Tri Hulled charter Freedom. www.charterfreedom.com I have done three different trips with Captain Gary Dawson one on his former boat and two on board Freedom.

I also have a term charter day sail with an overnight booked for February thru Interlinesail with the boat Forever Young.
Good Luck
Jay

Thanks for the advice. We decided to rent a condo at Sapphire Beach on STT as a home base and do day trips instead. Confirmed for Feb. 13-20th and can't wait! As Darlene says, it hasn't been too bad in the Boston area these days- 62 degrees today- but all I can think about is the crystal blue water!
