All you need is your swim suit, towel sunscreen and cash. The rest is not worth worrying about or something you can't do anything about anyway.

Don't forget an appetite and a thirst!
Bug spray might come in handy too... mosquitos and no-seeums.

If mosquitoes love you (and you'll know they love you if you've ever been to a place where they're numerous - THEY BITE YOU!), please bring OFF! or whatever you normally use. I've found that many people are not bothered by mosquitoes, but those of us that are, ARE FEASTS for the mosquitoes. Better to come prepared than be bothered even 10 minutes until you can get the spray or whatever.

There shouldn't be any other bugs...

Yes, there are bugs. You might encounter...

flying cockraoches...big ones. I am not trying to scare you, but these are fresh in my mind becuase I just returned and saw several of these around....most outside...one inside. They are about as long as my pinky and have wings the same length. I never saw one fly...but they were on thre ground when saw them. The one in my villa was dead when I saw it, so I guess they fumigate and it worked!!

Also, centipedes. Long and darm black...like big black worms with tiny legs. Never saw these inside, but saw a few outside. I also saw tiny black worms in side (not sure what these are, but I always seem them in villas - usually dead).

Ok, then, of course, the lizzards and geckos can get inside. I was in the bedroom in the dark one night (walking) and something jumped onto my arm near my shoulder. I knocked it off and saw it run across the bathroom floor (had the light on in the bathroom) - I'm sure it was a gecko since it didn't run all that fast, but my eyes were still trying to focus(I hope it was!). That was the only one I saw inside. I usually see more of them in the villas.

Frogs - yes, have seen plenty of these down there. They look like fat toads and they stick to things like walls. If you leave a light on outside and go out to check late at night, you might find one of these guys near the light.

What do you need to deal with these creatures - a stiff drink and a sense of humor!
