We are possibly staying at the Westin on St. John September 10-16th. They stated their pool would be closed from the 13th on and said we could use the pool at the Upper Villas, shuttle provided. Does anyone know about this location, is it nice, or have a web site?
Thanks,
Shauna

Shauna,

We will be at the Westin during part of your stay (Ours 12 - 18). They also told us about the pool closing, but said drinks would be 1/2 price from 10:00 to 6:00 PM (I guess as compensation).

We will be in one of the small villas, but don't know if it has a pool or shares one with other villas or if there is just one for all of the villas.

The Westin Resort website is www.WestinResortStJohn.com. Once there click on Resort, then Location, then on Resort Map.

There is another website with guest reviews and additional information on the Westin.

Thanx Fred for the info. We have friends that have stayed at the Westin twice on St. John and are going again this month. From what we understand there will be shuttles running to another pool during the shutdown of the main pool. We will be there for our 2oth anniversery. Hope to meet you then.

Shauna.
Congratulations on your 20th. We'll also be celebrating our anniversary (43rd).
I'm a little disappointed about the pool as it is reportedly the largest in the VI.
What do your friends have to say about the beach? I've seen good and bad reports on it. We will rent a car for a couple of days to go to other beaches.
