I'm going to have to try to put this trip report in pieces because of my first day back at work :o(

We left Phila. on Sat. 24th on US Air. No delays, easy flight and before we knew it (all 12 of us) were in STT. We also were 27 minutes early which is a miracle. Love that walk off the plane. Was looking for the rum punch and was surprised!! No rum punch, just shots of Cruzan!! YEAH!!! The baggage area was crazy as usual, but we had a plan.

Sherri from this board was supposed to meet us and I guess I was oblivious to her standing somewhere holding a sign. She found us and was meeting us to help with baggage to the villa. Husband quickly ran over to get some customs forms for our return trip, a couple people ran into the liquor store at the airport for some bottles and cigarettes and others stayed at the baggage claim. Again, another miracle!! We got our bags before we knew it. All of them, even the coolers.

By the time we got the luggage and got outside, the 3 drivers were back with 3 really nice and clean jeep wranglers from Discount. The rate for the jeeps were $325.00 for the week which was a great deal. They were curteous, quick and the cars were in great shape. I always loved the jeeps, but next time I won’t get one. Too much trouble getting people in and out of the back seats.

I want to thank Sherri from this board for meeting us at the airport and helping with the luggage and coolers. We could of never done it if it wasn't for her. Sherri also was able to put some beer, along with bread for our breakfast food for the next morning so we didn't have to shop. Sherri gave us all walkie talkies and we were talking back and forth. For those who don't know Sherri, she is one of the nicest people we have every met. She's just SOOOOO nice :o)

The villa was a 6 BR/6.5 bath, with pool and jacuzzi. Set on a huge cliff with beautiful views. The name is Oceancliff and i would suggest anyone with a large party to check into it. There's alot of privacy at Oceancliff, but at the same time the bedrooms are set on different floors. There's a beautiful Master Bedroom on the bottom floor under the grand room. This Bedroom has a really nice sunken tub with a huge window that looks out over the water. There's also a double shower and we loved that because we have one at home and we're use to it. On the next level up is the Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen. Outside is a really big table where we spent many nights just chatting, jumping in the pool and using the jacuzzi. The next floor up, there are 2 Bedrooms and then 2 more Bedrooms up another flight of steps. The youngest one stayed in the Bedrooms furthest up to the road. The views from every Bedroom is gorgeous. There's 2 decks, one all the way down near the water. Ted and Cindy, the owners have been so nice to us that we couldn't thank them enough. Sherri hung around for awhile, but she had a wedding to coordinate. Hey Sherri...no problem with the shower :o).

After a little while and a few beers we decided to head to Duffy’s Love Shack. It was my daughters birthday and she really wanted to go there. Had some great appetizers and some bushwackers and before we knew it we were walking over to Molly Mallones. Mike from Molly’s was such a gracious host. Food is good, drinks are great and it’s just a nice relaxing place to be.

Everyone was so exhausted by the end of this long day and the trip that we headed home about 11:30 to the Villa. Beware of driving at night. It’s blinding, but doable.

Next installment I’ll try to condense things. Work is crazy. Boy…..we all had a great time!

YAY, Connie!! Glad you had such a great time. Looking forward to the next TR installment. Ditto about Sherri - she is just the nicest person with the biggest heart!

Took a look at the Ocean Cliff site: http://www.oceancliffvilla.com/ - all I can say is WOW! What a difference from the first time you stayed here - the changes and upgrades are major! Not sure that we know ten other folks I would want to spend this much time with 🙂 but this villa would definitely be on our shortlist if we did. I just love that Atlantic view out over Hans Lollick - this is my favorite part of Peterborg.

Did you get to Lindqvist? If so, hope you include the changes there in your next installment.

Hey Margy...yes Oceancliff is a great place to stay...just about perfect.

We didn't get to Linqvist this time, renamed Smith Bay. There just never seems enough time to do everything. Next time we'll have to add a few days.

I'm still tired. Too much partying and not enough sleep!
