Wednesday ---- May 21 – 2:20 PM ---- STT Airport

Our plane was on time! I was so glad we chose Wednesday to Wednesday this year because the airfare is less and the planes were not over crowded. May and October is my favorite time of year in the VI. The water is perfect and there are plenty of people, but not the overwhelming numbers of peak season. The warm air welcomed us as we walked into the terminal. We packed light, but still ended up checking bags because of the liquid rules. I sure do miss doing all carry on! One trip we are going straight K-Mart when we arrive, buy the goops and globs needed and move on. So as we impatiently waited for our bags in the terminal, the courtesy rum punch (or two) helped passing the time. Finally, we were able to grab a taxi and head to the east end not willing to deal with the confusion with rent-a-car agencies at the airport.
