We got to the Villa about 4:30. We had arranged to have some beer, bread, water, ice and juices at the Villa when we got there by the grocery goddesses. I highly recommend this. That way we were able to celebrate a little bit while we checked out the villa.

We all decided to ride back to Red Hook (we were staying in Mahogany Run) and get some dinner at Duffy's Love Shack. You can park right in the parking lot. Duffy's has great drinks and everybody was happy with their meals. Most got cheesburgers. I got the chicken skewers and they were really good. They make a big deal if you get the Shark Tank drink. It cost about 14.95, but it served all of the 20 somethings. It was just good to relax with good friends, food and drinks.

Next day up and early. All decided that we had to snorkel. Went to Sapphire. What a beautiful beach!!! The snorkeling was excellent. The beach is well kept. No food around, except for the little snack store which sells t-shirts, bathing suits and souveniers. A small bar is set up there and we had some bushwackers, painkillers and beers. The bushwackers are really good there and they use real nutmet. Alot of bars don't. Just the stuff you shake into a drink. Also, lots of shade on Sapphire. We also saw 5 iquanas fighting over one piece orange. Pretty scarey stuff.

One thing about snorkeling anywhere in the USVI or BVI's. DON'T STAND ON THE CORAL. I was so p*** off when I saw some people, who actually had flippers on walking all over it. Don't they know that kills it???

We headed onto Coki beach. It's challenging to get a parking spot there, but as soon as you pull up, somebody will direct you somewhere and then proceed to try to get you directed to "their family" where you can spend some money. We set up our spots near Coral World. Be prepared at Coki to be asked by everybody if you need something. Didn't really bother us at all...you just say no. The water was crystal clear there. Soooo many fish and they're hungry mostly because people feed them cat food and dog biscuits. You can get your hairbraded, drinks brought to you, beech chairs are $5.00 a pc and they have plenty of food to eat there. We found the Mailman. It's a small shack and they're very nice people. Again, good drinks made fresh. Actually, we could of stayed there for awhile, but it was back to the villa, the pool and jacuzzi and a nap. All were pretty tired. Right before that we stopped at Marina Market to get some things to make dinner. If anybody wants to know the prices of things, just let me know. Beer? reasonable. Potatoes? rediculous...vegetables? Hard to find some good fresh ones, so we went for frozen.

We cooked some chicken, hamburgers and ham we had brought with us. Made potato salad and some black beans. We all ate outside and looked at the stars. Beautiful!

So exhausted from hours snorkeling and out on the roads (more about that later), that we all went to bed by 11.

Next report will be Monday......a snorkeling and siteseeing 8 hour trip on Born to Rhumb to the BVI's. The favorite part of our trip.

All in all it was a really nice day.

Well, it sounds like your 2nd day turned out a lot better than your arrival day. Can't wait to hear more of the report!!
