The Basford Building is on St. Thomas. It was named after my Grandpa, Jack Wayne Basford. He was president of a phone company and worked in that building for many years. Can anyone find anything about The Basford Building on this site?

Sorry, was going to answer earlier. Your Grandpa was a great guy. Well respected. He was in my Rotary Club. Was the Presidant at one time. The building where he worked is the Vitelco buildiing by the cemetary. It's quite a bastian of protection. All of the switches are there. It can withstand pretty much everything, hurricane, earthquake, bomb, strong as could be, just like Jack! It's not exactly a historic building, but you should be honored to have it named for him!
