Okay! "50% rain is not rain all day like there in Mass"...How's that? 50% rain is, you have a 50% chance that it might rain at some point during the 24 hour period... It rained this morning for a bit, but 10 minutes after it stopped, the roads were dry! It is the tropics- frequent short showers, tend to be early in the morning. Unless there is a tropical wave, you will see sun every day! File your opinion on the new Secret Harbour colors when you get back! :-0

My husband and I will also be at Secret Harbour until 10/31. I'm not too worried about the weather. I figure that a bad day at the beach beats a good day at work! What I'm worried about the the plane flight to get there. I don't like to fly and it's really stressing me out. That and the fact that I'm not packed yet! I'm sure we'll have a good time no matter what.

Hey Beachdog... just get a duffel and throw some "stuff" in...and..,airplanes is airplanes..so what..

"Now... Dr Fraud"... will tell you about air travel. It's all about "control issues". I strangled 76 seat rests over an 11 year period. I then realized they wouldn't let me fly the airplane.(despite my skill in a snowmobill) . So, one day, with the help of my loving mate I decided it was more important to go "somewhere" than be afraid. Guess What?
I can fly now with no fear...only impatience, pain, and intolerance.

Oh..about the weather..No problem unless there is a real storm...

Hmmmm...if you're flying in on Delta, US Airways, or United...there's nothing like a big ol 757 for a smooth comfortable ride. Really nothing to worry about. I'd suggest sleeping, but if the weather is cooperative you wont want to miss all of the beautiful islands you'll see on the way. 🙂

As far as the weather goes, I was in STT 10 Sept through 14 Sept...when Isabel was in the area. Weather Channel said good chance of rain every day. For the four days I was there, it rained once for about 10 minutes. As hot as it is there anyway, a nice little shower is VERY refreshing. Like EE said, after the rain stopped it was back to tropical sunshine.

Valerie,

My bet is you will have much more sunshine than showers.

Since you are at Secret Harbour with its beautiful beach, if it rains all you have to do is hop into the water and snorkel a bit, you won't even notice the rain for the ten minutes it will last.
