I read somewhere in the message board about some restaurant called Texas Coast that is good for conch fritters? Where is this place? Sounds like something we have to try next time. Is Skinny Legs doing ok? I tried to get on their site on-line and it was down. Thanks!

The conch fritters (in our opinion) are GREAT there.

JJ's Texas Coast is on St John. When you come off the ferry, walk straight off the dock through the little square/park there. You'll run smack dab into it. It's right there.

They also have good Mexican Food. On our trip in August, we ended up eating there on 3 occasions we liked it so much.

If you stop by, have an extra fritter or 3 for me and wash them down with some Caribs!

Just thinking about it makes me sick....I hate living in New Jersey!

Well, Rob, I know how you feel. I live in New Hampshire and it's starting to get cold. The leaves look nice though, but it's tough thinking about the weather to come. Luckily, we are heading down to STJ in February for our anual get-away, and can't wait. I will certainly visit the "Coast" when we're there. Love Mexican anyway. I will be sure to have a fritter for you and AT LEAST 4 Caribs for you.
