Just curious what the average temp is in May and water temp as well?? Is the ocean pretty comfortable during that time?

Vegas,

If you check the "Weather" link at the top of this page you will find the following information:

May Air Temperatures, Maximum 88, Minimum 76

In the summer months the water temperature is about 83 degrees and in the winter about 79 degrees.
