Hi,
I am planning to travel to St. Thomas on early December. How is the water at that time of the year? is it warm enough for swimming?. how is the temperature in general at that time?
thanks
Water is perfect for swimming. Don't know exact temperature but my family swims all year. Temperatures are about 85-90 during the day and 78-82 at night.
If you ask my wife the water would be too cold to swim. Actually we have a house with a pool in SW FL and if the pool is below 85 she is cold. The Water at the islands is PERFECT if you ask me in Dec. That is when ew go on Vacation every year. Also in winter there is less chance of those sea creatures wandering about.
Thanks all.

Majid Ja'an,
the average temprature is somewhere between 75-80 degrees year round. If you live on the islands for more than a year you'll get used to the hot tempratures of the summer and anything a wee bit cooler would feel cold for you. However, as most visitors live in colder weathter you'll feel garm and toasty!
