My husband and I will be in St. Thomas for 3 mo as I do a travel nurse assignment. What television is available and what internet service is available? Is there short term contracts/service available?

It's possible to find rentals that incude them these 2 items in the rent, especially since you will probably be looking for a fully furnished rental.
If not, by the time you pay the deposit and installation fees for such a short term, it may be better to do without.
You would have to check with the local providers as I do not know about such a short term but it is certainly possible.
Ask your rental if cable and internet are already installed as that will save the installation fees.
AT&T can probably get you internet access to your computer thru your IPhone.
Someone that has tech knowledge can answer this way better than I can.

oh my now i feel it's necessary to address that little extra - i am a choice customer, have been one for several years even through their transition(s), and while i recognize that everyone has not had the same experience that i have had, my customer service experience has been fine. just saying!

I was a customer since it was originally Ackley Communication and the last year was an absolute nightmare with billing and internet service, and tech help, espceially if it was after 5PM on a Fri. They drove me crazy with the lack of competent and reliable service.
When they started selling cell phones and raffling promotional cars, their internet service went to hell in a hand basket.
Much happier with Broadband VI, consistant high speed service and their prompt billing and response to any inquires.
I stuck with Choice much longer than I should have and they just could not perform.
