My apologies if this has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a Taylor or Seamstress who can do, what looks to me, like serious alterations to my wedding dress. I live in St. Thomas. My wedding isn't until March, but if I cannot get the dress altered it will have to be returned.

I've just started using the Amir laundromat in Four Winds and thus far they've done a good job taking care of my drop-off loads, Anyway, I noticed a sign in their window the other day that they offer seamstress/tailoring service so you might want to check with them. I don't see a listing for them in the 'phone book but I believe they only recently took over both the laundry and the adjacent store.
Another place to check would be the Lone Star sewing center which is next to the Lone Star grocery on the corner of the Smith Bay and Coki roads, I had excellent success several years ago when they recommended someone to make custom slipcovers for me. Hope that helps.
