We are arriving on sunday , i really think we should rent a car , any suggestions on what company to use?

We use Hertz (at the airport).......you get a 10 - 15% discount if you are a AAA member......but you must reserve on-line.
Suggest you do some research, via the Internet, on the big 3 (Hertz, Avis, Budget). Or try some of the local companies.....found on this web site.

If you plan to take your car to St. John, you cannot rent from Hertz. I think you can from Budget, not sure about Avis.
I really like Discount. Our flight schedules made it too difficult to rent on STT, or we would've gone with them in a heartbeat. They have great prices, and I always try to support local businesses, when possible.
We were down and reserved a car from Budget, but when we got to the airport Hertz had a sign for a "free upgrade". We got a Jeep Liberty from Hertz for the same price that we would have gotten an economy car from Budget.
