IMHO you really need to rent a car. Where exactly is your villa in Coral Bay? are you close to the "main" road? if not getting a taxi to take you up some of our more "famous" roads could be alittle bit of a challenge 🙂 Taxi fares will add up very quickly and fares - who knows !! I have heard it can be anywhere from $15.00 pp on up to as much as the taxi driver wants to charge and as much as $30.00 + pp especially at night (again only hearsay as I live here and don't taxi) Getting back to your villa late at night could be a real problem. We do have a bus that runs to/from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay and out to Salt Pond that you could use during the day for $1.00 pp and usually it is reliable but not always - it runs once per hour but I'm unsure what time the last bus is (I can hear it go by as it runs close to my house but don't hear it much past 8pm maybe?) Let us know what you decide.

I agree. It would be very, very inconvenient. Any particular reason you're inquiring about taxis rather than just driving yourself? Folks who put a priority on easy access to Cruz Bay usually realize that would mean staying nearby.

We have rented a jeep, but I was just curious to see if a taxi might be a possibility once or twice after a night out. Thanks for the info.
