Hello all.
I just returned from a fabulous trip to St. Thomas.
During my trip, though, I lost a palm pilot. I figured it had slipped out of my bag during the van ride from the airport to the Morningstar resort.

We have 2 offices that I work out of here in Cincinnati and I was informed that someone just called our other office saying they found my palm pilot. The receptionist failed to get his name and number for me and simply just gave him my other office #. He has not called.

What I was wondering is there a list or directory of taxi services (vans) that I could call? I tried a google but found nothing specific.

Thanks for any assistance from anyone with a good suggestion.

Well, actually meant checking with the tour agencies (i.e. Tropic tours) at the airport that provide transportation. They might have Taxi Service Contacts.

Hello,

Call V.I. Taxi Association at (340) 774-4550 or (800) 451-9290 or (340) 774-7457 for RADIO DISPATCH and expain it to them. They will likely announce it over their system to all drivers and hopefully if it was the driver that found it or has it they will respond to the dispatcher's announcement.

A. Davis. Ya got that right!

How about a feel good story...

Get a call from a co-worker today asking if I was missing a palm pilot. Said, "yes".

The guy who found it called again to the original # and this time co-worker got his info. I called the guy tonight and he told me he found it in a taxi when visiting st. thomas. The battery had died and he bought a charger and looked up my name. Told me he would fed-ex it to me on Monday. Wouldn't accept any money.

The guy lives in Puerto Rico and just happened to ride in the same shuttle bus as me.

Wow! Still honest people out there.

Cincy.
