I've asked this question on one post, but thought I'd get more responses in a topic.
We (15 people) are in need of knowing the cost for a taxi from the cruise ship dock at Havensight to Red Hook; Red Hook ferry to Cruz Bay; and safari van at Cruz Bay to Trunk Bay? If anyone has recently traveled this route in the last month or so, I would be indebted to you, as I'm getting different costs on different websites.
If anyone has used the Charlotte Amalie boat/ferry to SJ, what is that cost...(told $8)..or are we better off doing it the Red Hook ferry way? We know that the CA ferry takes 45 mims. in travel time to get to SJ....
Thanks ahead time for your answers.

With that large of a group you are better off hiring a private transfer service which sometimes charges you less than published taxi fares. Try Allembert at [email protected] 1-800-501-0122 www.movemygroup.com I use him personally for my business and he always does an amazing job and will point out sights on the way if you ask. And EXTREMELY reliable and easy to work with. Best way is through email since he travels with his laptop and wireless email hookup so he will reply right away.
Or try Gonzis limo service which has a large van as well. www.gonzislimo.com They are VERY nice people as well.
At the top of the message board is a drop down marked St. Thomas. The taxi charges are posted. Be sure to note that the rates are per person. You can figure out the charge for each leg of your trip.
Thanks StuScott, this is very helpful. I will followup on your 2 suggestions.
