I have read about Bushwackers,,,so I know for sure I am going to try one of those. Are there other 'local' drinks that I should try out? My husband and I ALWAYS try out local beers, on every island and vacation we visit, so does anyone have any suggestions there too? I like a lighter beer and my husband prefers the darker.

Tell Cheech and Kevin hi!
Painkillers are another tasty concoction that you should try...rum, OJ, grapefruit juice and Coco Lopez....YUMMY!
Wow marty..i love painkillers and i never knew there was grapefruit juice in them. Guess the Coco Lopez balances that out because I hate grapefruit juise..but boy...are they good and potent. I'll see if I can find the picture of me after having one and then finishing daughters 😮
Mafolie lists the ingredients for each drink on their menu and their painkillers have pineapple juice rather than grapefruit juice.
Now, on my list is Bushwacker, Painkiller and to visit the Tap Room,,,,thanks very much!!
I have never made a painkiller with Grapefruit, only pineapple. No matter....it is the rum that matters the most;)
I've head them both ways...and I think I prefer the pineapple, but my hands were typing grapefruit! Either way, X, yer right...it's the RUM!! Ever had one with Black Seal rum? Yummy!!

Limin Coconut
BBC
This was pretty much my drink rotation on STJ!
What is Limin Coconut and BBC
Limin Coconut is really just a traditional lime daquiri with coco-lopez -Yummy
BBC is a Baileys Banana Colada- Yummy as well
Nothing beats a rum punch. Everyone makes them a little differently but I really like the ones Lindy makes at Tickles.
