We missed the Taste of St. Croix. It was held at the DIVI Carina Bay Resort on Thurs. April 8. Sold out at $50 per person. We arrived on the island on Friday and missed the whole thing. We stayed at the hotel and there weren't even any leftovers. bummer. Well, according to the St. Croix Avis (the island paper), the winners were (in the order of 1st, 2nd, 3rd):

Appetizers - The Galleon, Culinary Cooking, Savant
Soup - Cafe Christine, Blue Moon, Neva's Kitchen
Entree - Sunset Grille, Gertrude's, Carambola Beach Resort
Local Food - Gertrude's, Singh's Fast Food, Soul Vegetarian
Dessert - Steele's Smokes & Sweets, Tutto Bene Restaurant, Beach Side Cafe
Presentation - Cultured Pelican, Tutto Bene, Classic Fare Catering at Tropical Treat Cafe and Southgate Farms
People's Choice - Rumrunners, Truffles, Cafe Misto

Just add this list to those mentioned by others and you have a great list of dining places. What a treat. I'll give a trip report in a day or two. What a great trip.

The Taste of St. Croix was a great meet, greet and eat. Thanks again Ronnie! The food was wonderful. The only complaint I'd have is that the Divi is getting to small for all the people that were there this year. Hardly any room to move through the displays. I'm not kidding when I say that I'm glad I didn't get checked into the pool. What a 'splash' that would have made...

A wonderful treat though
