Well, I wanted to give a little update on myself. ( Maybe even a shameless plug.) As you know, I was the chef at chloe and bernards after Andre left. Without going into details, I am no longer the chef there. I am concentrating more towards my new night at the Tamarind Inn and possible private chef sessions. The nice thing about it is the Tamarind lets aspiring chefs use their kitchen for a theme night. It kind of allows people like me spread their wings a little. I am doing Tuesday night at the Tamarind Inn with another chef, Red. Our theme is Vegetarian night. I think there is a big call for it and we hope to see lots of locals come visit and try it. We hope that it will be successful and we will get another night and maybe have two nights out of the week. We would probably do a homemade pasta night or something to that effect. Also, if there are special requests, we love to hear them.

CongratulationsChris! Keep those of us on the board posted where you will be and when. Personally, I like Tamarind. They are always having something new there. Wish I was going to be on island then but I have to wait. When you mention Andre leaving is that the same Andre who had a place at Chilly Billy's and used to bartend at Skinny's? Where is John now who was also at Chloe and Bernards and Chateaux?

Chris,
Are you interested in spreading your wings a little further and chef on a charter yacht? Have a few looking for chefs for next season. Email me if you are interested.
Pamela.

Marie,
Here's the story of Chloes.
John Bullock (or johnny b)was the chef there until september 2002. He had an "altercation" with the Director of operations(and he was re-hired and re-fired for Paradiso after Ted Robinson left Paradiso for Tage) and he "resigned." After two interm chefs for three months, Andre was hired and resided there until January 2004 after a bad water burn he "resigned." I was the chef there until April 20th, 2004. That's when I took time to step back because my family was in town for my sister's wedding. After two days back at Chloes, my brother had his accident and I just got back this week. So in less than two years, there have been six head chefs at Chloes. Out of the four restaurants, in less than two years, there have been 17 head chefs with the company. (6 chloes and bernards, 3 paradiso, 3 chateau bordeaux, 5 asolare)
All fact.

thanks for the update, Chris. Have wondered where Johnny B. was for awhile now. I did enjoy his cooking at Chateau Bordeaux. He also purchased our condo from us.
