*I am coming to the virgin island in the middle of November and am having a heck of a time finding surf spots. I realize that this is because they are few and far between. We plan on going to the following locations: Tortolla, Virgin Gorda, Peter, Norman Islan, Jost Van Dyke and St John. Any help would be SO helpful!!!!!! It would make my trip so much more enjoyable.
Thanks a million!

EM,

There is usually good surfing on the exposed north sides of the Atlantic facing islands. Of course that depends on the swell and direction. You can pretty much count out Peter, Norman and St. John, unless there are real unusual conditions. These islands are protected from the swells by Tortolla and some other barrier islands to the North. Virgin Gorda, Jost and Tortolla should have some surfable swell on the North and east sides. If you get over to St. Thomas, Hull Bay is the place to go. Out on the west end of the bay there are usually surfers most of the time.
