Odd post, but in process of planning my trip....I read a post on this board several weeks ago that mentioned some sort of "super" towel that was a "must bring"? Does anyone know anything about this?

thank you....exactly what I was looking for.
I ran across a really neat towel for two at American Hotel Register Company. It is huge 6 ft towel that you can lay out on the beach and then put your regular beach towels on top for drying or covering up with.

Molly - not the same thing. Go to the link for neat sheets and you'll see the difference. I've seen them for sale in a few places on STT but not all the time. Cheers!
Molly,
I have a double-sized terry cloth towel that was given to me as a present for my trips to the islands. It's absolutely beautiful, but I've never brought it with me. It is huge to pack, taking up too much space, and quite heavy.
That's one of the plusses of the neat sheet - very light and packable while one of the best things about them is that the sand doesn't stay on them. Everyone who beaches it should have one - I should buy stock!
