I am trying to plan my wedding for Oct. 22. I want to do it at sunset, but I am not sure what time sunset is that time of year. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks!
The following site will calculate the time for your exact location if you wish. As it is, San Juan Puerto Rico sunset is 5:56 PM on October 22.
Hey Chris, Great website. Nice find.

Erin,
A short word of warning - the sun is setting around 6:10 PM these days but it is not the sunset like you are accustomed to in the mainland. We are so close to the equator that it only last for a short while then gets DARK! If you plan the ceremony around the sunset, try to time it so that is ending around then and not starting then unless you want a night time wedding. There is very little twilight here.

Pamela,
I talked with my wedding coordinator, and she suggested a time of 5:30. The ceremony is only about 15 minutes long. Do you think that would be okay? I still want to take pictures of the ceremony, and any others we can take before. Let me know if you think it will get dark during the ceremony, and if you would suggest moving it back to about 5:15 or so. Thank you!
Erin
Thank you so much for the website! It is fantastic!
No, 5:30 should be perfect. You'll have good light for about 45 minutes.
