I am trying to decide between these two charter companies for a daytrip to BVI. Has anyone used either of them or have any ideas as to which would be best?

I have known the Poe brothers who operate SunSea since they were in grade school and they are excellent boat operators, personable and extremely knowledgeable and keep the vessel immaculate - they get my recommendation every time.

Thanks, I emailed Sunsea, but have not gotten a reaponse back yet. Still waiting!

I used sunset for many years they are the best. Call Alex at 340-626-6785.

I also give Sunsea two thumbs up. Captain Alex took us everywhere we wanted to go as well as showing us some great spots we hadn't seen before. No experience with the other one so I can't comment.

BVI Alex has places that are secluded and great fish. Go to willy T's. Good food great drinks. Alex has always taken is to places with few people no crowds and they are great. No itinerary is the best. Tell Alex you want the "surprise me" itinerary.
