The article was dated August - remember the park is currently closed due to the shutdown

I don't know why that popped back up as it was for August.
As Pia stated, all National Park beaches are now shut down due to our Gov. shutdown.
You all will have to find non park beaches to enjoy if you are here during this shutdown.
