Is there a good Sunday brunch on STJ?

Also, there used to be a great Sunday brunch at Renaissance on STT. Now that it has changed ownership, I wonder if the Sumgglers Sunday Brunch still exists. Does anyone know?

Hello Steff,

Sugar Bay used to have a really good brunch (haven't been lately).

I know Caneel Bay in STJ does a Sunday brunch.
Pirate's Cove Marina on the east end of St. Thomas has a brunch special every Sunday. Hull Bay Hideaway has a brunch around 10am, I believe.
Sapphire has a good breakfast.

I'm not sure how many places on STT do breakfast, period. Anybody have any recommendations?

II think the Caneel brunch ended Mother's Day until season starts...

Breakfast on St Thomas: Deli Deck, Molly Mollone's ( they have grits, biscuits and gravy!!)- many other breakfast and lunch spots!

Grand Bay (former Renaissance) is an all-inclusive now...

Since Grand Bay and Sugar Bay are all-inclusive, does that mean they don't serve breakfast to people not staying at their resort?

Hello Sue,

I have never asked what their (Sugar Bay) rule is and it may very well vary depending on what is being offered; ie. breakfast buffet for the guest vs. a sunday brunch. I have gone to their brunches, bars, club, Caribbean night without ever being turned away. Perhaps you might need to call them and find out what their breakfast set up is and whether non-guest can attend.

I agree, the best brunch view is Miss Lucys and I did enjoy their bunch.

Amen to Chris Cody's Ritz recommendation. What a feast!
Foie gras, lobster, and beignets, oh my! 😉
