Hello everyone,
My name is Korey, and I attend the Clemson University located in South Carolina.
I will be doing an internship in Charlotte Amalie, VI for the summer months of June through the middle of August.
What i need help is borrowing a vehicle. Compensation will be available and we can talk a little about that later, but if anyone know of anyone that would be willing to let me use one of their vehicles for a fee, I would appreciate it.
You can email me at

or pm me.
You should post this on the relocation forum - but I don't honestly think you'll have much luck finding anything because of insurance liability amongst many other factors. You may be able to rent a car from Bowsky Auto Sales and Rentals in Smith Bay (340-779-2600) but if you're under 25 that could be a problem or might entail a higher premium, If you found the internship in construction, surely someone in the construction office could arrange for you to be picked up? Good luck.
Korey, where will you be interning, and where will you be living?
Many of the traveling healthcare workers stay at Sapphire, because it's pretty easy to get back and forth on public transportation. Also, you can always arrange for a private driver to pick you up daily and take you home. Quite a few people do that, because they don't want the hassle of a vehicle if they're only going to be here temporarily.
Or you could rent/buy a scooter. I've seen scooters advertised for approx $1,200, though most people will not recommend you ride one here!
Transportation is your least of worries here.
