We are going to take our first trip to St. Croix. I went out on the internet and found a condo for rent at the Sugar Beach Condos. Has anyone ever been there and what were your thoughts about the condos and the area

We own a rental condo at Colony Cove, right next door to Sugar Beach. Sugar beach is very nice, the beach itself is small but never crowded. There is a great restaurant next door, and the pool is built around an old sugar mill. I have never stayed there but we did look at the condos when we were buying and liked them very much. Just found a better deal next door.

Sugar Beach and Colony Cove are on what was once one of the nicest beaches on St Croix. Unfortunatly the government built large "public housing" units along the same beach. We would like the public housing residents to be able to enjoy this beautiful beach too, but many of them only enjoy the access to nearby condos to rob, terrorize and burglarize.

Oh I forgot , the government also built "sewage" outfall units on this beach. They are usually broken so beach and ocean pollution is not uncommon.

Maybe I will feel better tomorrow.
