Hi gang......came across an article in 'CT&L' mag.about great snorkling in front of the Wyndham-Sugar bay resort......there seems to be a shipwreck about 100-150' from shore in 8-10' of water with incredible views!!......can anyone verify this???

I didn't see the ship wreck, but the snorkeling at Sugar Bay was the best we had while staying on STT last week. We saw the most fish and coral there of anywhere. The beach is small and I think less people disturb the fish at Sugar Beach than at the beaches like Coki and other popular beache where the cruise ship people go on their excursions. My husband snorkeled from there to the dock where Fungi's is on Water Bay and he raved about it.

I was in St. Thomas last week and heard from some friends we met down there that the snorkling is awesome at Sapphire beach, is awesome. Might check it out.
