There is no such excursion to the Buck Island near STX.

It's in the morning. I did it and found it very interesting!
I did this with my niece and we both loved it. Leaves from Havensight - depending on cruise ship arrival they do it morning and afternoon. Take a boat to Buck Island (off St. Thomas) and get into submarine there then go down in the sub and see the fish and the coral. GreaT!
We did the Sub this past Feb. They boat you out to the Sub which is moored at Buck Island. Was a neat experience. Very comfortable as not a full Sub when we went. It's well worth the $ and dives about 80-90 feet tops. The sub seems to just squeak through a portion of the reef. Lots of fresh medical grade Oxygen circulating so no stuffiness problems. Nice that it does not eat up a whole day.
