Aside from Buck Island and Cane Bay, what areas of STX offer good snorkeling?
do a search on this board under snorkeling Feb 05. I just got a ton of good info from folks here.

I believe your request and information was all STT based.
The beaches in and around Frederiksted have very good snorkeling, and I've been told that the beach at Hotel on the Cay is good and the back side (by the old tennis courts) is largely undiscovered and fantastic. Also check out http://www.gotostcroix.com/beaches/ for some good suggestions.

Thanks for the site...just what he wanted.
Chris,
There are sooooo many places to explore and snorkle while in STX. We were there last August. Get a car and drive around to some of the places mentioned on the website Joanne told you to check out. You will find something different at each beach area.
You probably won't be able to hit all of them on your visit.

Thanks.
My family and I have gone to STJ but I have only gone to STX on business and couldn't get out of the refinery during the day to explore. My son has a chance to go to STX this March with a friend and they will be relying on the friend's grandfather for transport. Rather than sending them everywhere, I wanted to have their choices laid out to avoid too much taxiing around.
Which locations did you prefer? I know Buck is at the top of their list.
