There will be 4-5 of us spending a week on STX over Christmas (so excited- staying at Pelican Cove Condos!). We would like to have a SUV of some sort because we will also have 2-3 sets of golf clubs and dive gear. SUVs are running about $400/week. Anything smaller and we would have to rely on taxis to and from the airport.
We have found a Chevy Impala for $208/week... now we're thinking it might be cheaper to rent two cars for all of us for the week. Any favorite rental agencies on the island?
Also, I keep reading about theft... is it true that anytime you part your car you are to leave all wondows down, doors unlocked, and glove compartment open? Do cars ever get stolen???
