Hello Everyone!

We are 14 days away from our Wedding/Honeymoon on STX! I am counting the SECONDS until we leave!

I know I asked before about everyones favorite restaurants in general, but we were wondering if anyone had suggestions for where to find the best seafood or sushi on STX. Also, where can I find some SERIOUSLY strong Starbucks type coffees on the island. The only thing that may hinder our honeymoon is if i go into Mocha withdrawl!

Thanks in advance for all your help,

The soon to be Mrs. Smith,

Lisa

I think there's a guy who cruises through this board that owns a Coffee Place in Fredriksted? Can't remember the name? Anyone??

I also like real coffee & real beer :). I have found the coffee in many Caribbean spots better than your typical stateside coffee. I think they make it a bit stronger & many use Puerto Rican coffee. Which by the way is where I've had the best coffee!!

Best sushi is at Rhythms at Rainbow Beach north of Frederiksted on Friday night and best coffee is Tropical Java 12 Strand St. Frederiksted on the waterfront. Best gourmet sandwiches are at Turtles Deli 37 Strand St in Frederiksted on the waterfront. Great seafood at Beachside Cafe at the Sand Castle on the Beach Hotel 1/2 mile south of Frederiksted on the beach.

Rumrunners has great sushi at the deck bar. And each night they feed the leftovers and scraps to the tarpon - it's an amazing sight to see these 4-foot long fish churning the water. I was even the designated "feeder" one evening.

I don't drink coffee on vacation very often, but I've had good coffee at Morning Glory in Gallows Bay.

Hi All!

Thanks for all the info.

We are staying at and being married at the Buccaneer. 8 days from today - we are SO EXCITED!!!!!

We have three weeks to explore the island and relax, so we really appreciate all your suggestions. We plan on trying each and every place that has been reccomended on the board at least once. And we will file a full report when we get back, complete with our own reviews and reccomendations!

Thank you all again.

Lisa

Hi Ric!

We certainly will stop by and say hi. I will be the REALLY white red head slathered in SPF60, trying not to burn!

Take care,

Lisa
