Just returned to St. Louis late last night from our trip to Wyndham Sugar Bay in STT. I tell you, every time I go there, it just gets better and better! We always try to see something new each time to add "some spice" to the beautiful familiarity that we adore. After 5 visits, we (believe it or not) hadn't seen Trunk Bay! OH MY GOD....GORGEOUS! My system shut down because I couldn't take the beauty of it all!! Well worth the cabfare to Red Hook, the ferry to STJ and the cabfare to the beach!

My kids had SO MUCH FUN! The people at the Wyndham are so awesome (hello to Dorian and Augusta :-). What a great Kids Club program they have! If you do the A.I. plan, it is included as well! They have activities from 10 am until 4 pm, including iguana feeding, baking cookies, basketball, tennis, boat races, and the usual beach and pool games. They even hooked us up with a huge bottle of wine so we could sit on the porch after the kids went to bed. What a view of St. John! I would highly recommend the Wyndham and, here's a tip, sign up for Wyndham By Request to get your choice of beverage and snack waiting in your room as well as an extended check out. If you stay there, spend the extra $20 a night to get the deluxe or luxury room to improve your view! I LOVE the 99 steps that so many people complain incessantly about....great exercise! STT is hilly....live with it! That's what makes the view so incredible!

Weather was awesome! The pizza at Sopchoppy's was awesome as usual (I have now ranked it #1 ahead of any St. Louis style pizza)! People were nothing but friendly and wonderful. Drinks were strong. Snorkeling was better than usual (squid, baracuda-looking fish, starfish). I only regret we didn't charter a boat to see all of the BVI again (pricey....but worth it).

Here's another great website. Kayak.com to check for the lowest airfares out there. Learned that one from Conde Nast (no I'm not a snob!).

I Love The VI! Thanks to all for listening! I miss you so much already! Can't wait to download pictures! I even like my "no-see-um" bites to remind me where I've been! I know....I'm sick...

Hello,

Thanks for sharing. Most say their nice tans remind them of the trip... hmmmm don't think I've ever heard someone saying the bites are their reminder. LOL 😉 Thanks again, glad you had a good time and got over to see Trunk Bay.
