Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. My fiancee and I are planning a wedding on STT in early June or late May. It will just be the two of us. We are having a hard time trying to find a place to stay. Does anyone have any suggestions that would be private for two. Also, does anyone that has had a wedding on STT or lives there know of any good spots on the beach to have a wedding that doesn't have any people around. Thanks in advance for any help that you are able to provide.
I look forward to chatting with you all

If I may suggest, Water Island. It's a nice quiet island with Honeymoon Beach which is absolutely gorgeous. I have a vacation home on Water Island (www.flamingopointusvi.com) that will meet your needs for "private for two" splendidly.

ck out: www.mclaughlinanderson.com
They have many vacation villas available large and small!
Also, ck out: www.weddingstheislandway.com for a small wedding company that gives great attention to any detail you wish, simple to elaborate!
Good Luck in your search! 🙂

Sherri is too modest to mention that she has a rental cottage for 2 - small, very private, waterfront view, private pool, in a secluded and tropical section of St Thomas.

She is also a wedding coordinator, so that should help!

There is a beach at the bottom of the road where her villas are. It is usually empty sans 1 or 2 local residents sitting out on chairs - and the horses that live down there. (it is a somewhat rocky beach). Also, close to her cottage (The Stone Cottage) and her larger villa (Rockworks Villa), is an amazingly beautiful and very remote beach called Neltjberg. You will need a 4WD to get down there....but once you are there, expect to find an "alone" place on one of the prettiest beaches in the VI. The place is so beautiful that Caribbean Travel and Life featured a 2 page centerfold of this very beach - one photo - blown up large over 2 pages. Perfection!

Here is Sherri's honeymoon cottage. http://www.mclaughlinanderson.com/caribbean-villas/STONECOTTA/

Sherri knows how to get to Neltjberg. Most people do not. After the Caribbean Travel and Life spread on it, I was determined to get there and spent hours looking for the road leading down to it (in a truck being driven by a local who spent 40 years on the island and asking countless locals how to reach it). People would say "oh, I've heard if it but have no idea how to get there". Amazing.

Good luck!

We have a place on Sapphire beach. This is the most beautiful beach on STT. It is right on the beach, steps away. If you are getting married I would suggest that you consider Magen's bay for the cermoney. It is a little quieter there and very beautiful. PM me if you are interested in the condo. It is at Crystal Cove. We ahe a web page, sapphirebeachcondos.com and an email at [email protected]. We would step you down to a one bedroom, unless you wanted the two bedroom.

We can be reached at 908-343-1595 or you can call us down in STT at 340-715-5220. We will be here until April.

Dear Blu,
You are right! Thank you so much for putting the link to the cottage! I participate on the forum to be helpful, not for my own gain, so I appreciate your input! 🙂
I would be honored to pick up sflemi00 at the airport, take her and her sweety to their villa and then also to be their wedding coordinator! How cool is that!
sflemi00,
There are SO many wonderful options out there, no matter what you choose, I wish you all my best! Congratulations on the engagement!
