Hi all!
I'm planning a trip back to the Islands to celebrate a few friends 30th bdays. I have been to STJ twice but we'll be staying on STT this year. I would love to take my friends over to JVD. Does the ferry take you to the dock at Foxy's? Are there cabs around to get over to Ivans Stress Free Bar or to Soggy Dollar? I know the walk from Soggy Dollar to Ivan's is not bad (unless you forget your shoes and have to walk barefoot on the hot rocks, yeah, that happened) but not sure where the ferry takes you and how to get from Foxy's to these places. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

The public ferry drops you off and there will be taxi's there waiting for you. You can walk to Foly's pretty easily just go right and stay along the water - it's probably 1/3 of a mile and you'll be there.

But - there will be taxis there as well.

You could walk from the ferry to Ivan's and Soggy Dollar, but the hill is a real killer. i'd definately take a taxi there.

Good Luck! Have Fun!
