Hi y'all!

I was wondering if you had any ideas for me. My husband and I would like to have at least one nice dinner out while we are in St. Thomas, but as luck would have it, I'm a vegetarian, and we usually have trouble finding places that offer really good vegetarian entrees (something other than a salad and soup of course!). I know he'll really enjoy the seafood though.

Any help is much appreciated!

Most of the vegetarian places are take-out or cater to the lunch crowd. However, I'm looking in the phone book under restaurants, and I see that the Blue Moon Cafe has an interesting vegetarian entree - Pesto Vegetable Stir Fry - assorted veggies with virgin olive oil & basil pesto served over citrus cous cous and drizzled with red pepper emulsion. $20. There's also a Grilled Vegetable Stack - grilled marinated market vegetables with crisp flour tortillas, wild rice, sauteed greens and goat cheese mousse. $18. I'd call to see if it's still current, 340.779.2262.

The Caribbean Saloon, 340-775-7060, has a Vegetarian Stir Fry - vegetables with sesame sauce over rice - $15.95.
