Hello all!
I'm looking to stay in Hotel 1829 for one night, the next day picking up our marriage license before going on to STJ. I read this hotel is close to government buildings--is this correct and is this a good place to stay? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Connie

Hi COnnie -

I stayed at Hotel 1829 for one night in early July and loved it! my single room wa small, but the property is lovely and charming! I had spent time at the Wyndham, Grand Beach Palace, and Marriott Frenchman's Reef during my trip, so have some basis for comparison. It is centrally located and near the downtown ferry to St. John. I will definitely stay there again on my overnight STT stops. If you are looking for good restaurants, try Noche or Oceana - both in Frenchtown!

Congrats!

MM
