We are arriving on STT this Saturday. There are 10 of us and I was wondering what the best/quickest way for us to all get to the red hook ferry to STJ.

Thanks!

Just hop in a taxi - you may all fit in one if you do carry on only 🙂 (remember if it dosen't fit in a carry on you won't need it on STJ 🙂 )
If not you will be in two taxi's but try to fit the smaller group in a taxi that is going straight to Red Hook and not doing any hotel "drop off's"

I would choose the CA ferry over Red Hook (and have) - the idea being to get on the water asap.

The taxis in STT are not traditional - meaning they carry many passengers and make stops along the way - this is the way it is done (generally)

We have thought about taking the CA Ferry but I have heard some bad things about that being a rough ride. I don't know why it would be any different than the Red Hook ride over just longer maybe.

I've never had a rough ride I'm sure it could happen but the wind would have to be from the right direction to make it rough for longer then red hook
