My husband and I, along with two other couples are going to St. Thomas in June for a couples vacation. When we take these vacations we prefer to stay within walking distance of local bars/entertainment. I have heard Red Hook is the place for barhopping but can't find any information on accommodations within walking distance of there. Please help. Thanks!

Wow! That map is exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you so much. Thanks for the links to the villas, but we are really looking for a 3 bedroom villa or hotel/B&B with three rooms. But thanks again. This helps a lot.
Yes Red Hook is excellent for night life and bar hopping, but there really is not a hotel w/in safe walking distance at night. I would recommend renting 3 villas or suites at Sapphire Beach Resort which is less than a mile from Red Hook and taking a taxi down the hill which cost you all of $4/person. Most of the villas are privatley owned, but at a resort w/ a goreous beach, pool and concierge services. You can see rent alot of the villa's on VRBO.com . Heres one for example. We have a two bedroom that sleeps 6. It has two separate bedrooms as well as a king size murphy bed in the living room. It is RIGHT on Sapphire beach. It is one mile from red hook. You can take the safari to Red hook or $1. You may need to take a cab back late at night as the safari bus does not run after dusk. This will cost about $4.
So combine being on the best beach in STT with Red Hook.
