We are staying in St. John and want to shop in St. Thomas on our last day before heading to the airport. Is there any where to store luggage safely while we shop? Lockers?

Take the CA ferry. The taxis there usually offer the service to hold the luggage for you while you shop and pick you up at the appointed time and place for the airport run.
