My husband and I are planning a visit to STJ in October and are considering several villas. Any feedback on them or suggestions of any villas that have pools, AC in the BR, and some sense of privacy about them would be appreciated. Jacuzzi would be a nice plus. These are the ones we are considering:

Sea Glass
Ananas
Sun, Moon, & Stars
Sea Watch
Aqua Gem
Happy Moon
Ocean Pearl
Poi Pu
Sundancer
Sundance
Glenmar
Cloud Nine

Thanks for any assistance you can offer!

We stayed a week at Sundance in July -absolutely loved it!!! Marcy, the property manager is terrific and very helpful. (Cloud9villas.com) It is well appointed, very clean, washer, dryer, dishwasher, tons of beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and floats. There are three separate air conditioned bedrooms with their own bath. One of the bedrooms has a great garden shower. It has a pool and hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. Hope this helps.

We stayed at Sun Moon and Stars in June and loved the view. Absolutely breath taking. The villa is nicely furnished with fine quality products. It only has a pool, no hot tub. Very private area. Steep and windy road to get to the villa, but well worth it. The people at www.windspree.com are fantastic to work with. I loved the villa, nice to be outside of the city of Cruz Bay, beaches are only 30 minutes away. Quite. Soliditude, you'll enjoy this place for the serenity. Good rates too.

We just stayed at Pocket Money (not on your list). It's a 2BR with pool and AC in the bedrooms and is literally right above Cruz Bay. We loved it. The sunset views were great. It's close to town, but up above it on a tiny little road so there was no noise except for the construction over at the big pond thing. Plus, there's a "magical surprise" that awaits you there. (If that's not enoughto pique your interest, I don't know what it)

The other finalists for us were Aqua Gem, Ocean Pearl and Happy Moon. The first 2 look very nice and have a good location. We thought Happy Moon looked great but are happy we didn't go with it. Depending what you want from your trip, it may not work. It's far-ish from town. We liked being able to roll out of PM and be in town in under 2 minutes.

All in all, i'd imagine it's hard to go wrong.

I would also recommend Starlit Escape (www.StarlitEscape.com) - a great place with a pool and complete privacy, in Coral Bay. Please email me if you want to know more!
