Going to St. John in late March - early April (4 nights). Does anyone know what is up with the construction (baby needs to nap) around Cruz Views and anything else (advise?) regarding the units. Also, we are looking for an affordable condo or villa with A/C, pool & crib if anyone else has any bright idea's. We are spending the first leg of our trip camping @ Cin. Bay and only need the unit for the last 4 days of our trip.
Thanks in advance...
I stayed in Cruz Views #1 last May. I know that there was construction going on in the area, but don't remember it ever being a problem for me. I was very happy with the unit for the price I paid. It was a bit dated, but otherwise no other problems that I can remember.
I stayed in CV #10 last month. The construction noise on the hillside lasts from 8-5, however it did not bother me in the morning because I had the A/C on at night and the doors closed. I was also out at the beach all day. If you are outside on the porch, you can hear the noise. If you have the ceiling fan on, and the main slider door closed, it should be fine during the day for a nap. I loved CV#10 and think it is the most private unit because of the wrap around deck and the trees-which block the view of the construction. The other units that I liked because of their location were #1 and #2. Hope this is helpful.
booked #2, thanks...
Tacman... When will you be on STJ? We're going to be there 3/25 through 4/1. We're renting a villa near Hart Bay.
