We are planning a trip to STJ and the accommodations are overwhelming. I was wondering what input you all have on a Villa large enough to sleep 5 adults and three children. We are a very value contentious family looking for the best deal for our money. It must have a pool!
Checked out Villa Villakula on seaviewhomes.com. This is a very comfortable, 5 bedroom villa with pool and kayaks for paddling on Great Cruz Bay. Very reasonably priced. Seaview Homes are great to deal with.
of the 5 adults how many or are any couples ?? this would affect the number of bedrooms need...i'm assuming you'll need at least 4, so here are some of my choices : Dolphin Run , Palm Villa , Ciellodonna , Sunset Beach / all are 4 bedroom villas....Ixora, Cinnamon Ridge/ 2 great 5 bedroom villas with stunning views..have to say my favorite is Cinnamon Ridge . we've stayed in all of these ( and others ) over the years, all are very nice/comfortable and well furnished. www.caribbeanvilla.com - this is the company we've rented the villas from..nice group to deal with !!
Just got back on the 20th of Jan. we had 12 in our group 8 stayed at Cygnus it was out of this world.
How old are the children?? alot of homes would not be suitable for small children as they are in separate "pods" or downstairs from the main house accessible only by outside stairs - but if your "children" are older and responsible (is there such a thing 🙂 ) those home would be fine and we could recommend them to you.

The kids are 8, 6 and three, the three year old will be sleeping in the same room/bed as her parents and the 8 and 6 year old will be sharing a bed but the room needs to be in the same pod or area as their dad and I.
