Who's still doing day sails on St. John. Prefer mono-hull not cats and sail boat not power boat. Staying mid-island so either Cruz or Coral. What can you say about each charter positive/negative? Thanks for the info.

Captain Phil is very knowledgeable about sea life, snorkeling, and sailing... very nice person as well. He can handle six on his boat which sails out of Cruz Bay. We had a very pleasant day with him.

We like the folks who run the Calypso mono-hull sailboat out of Cruz Bay, given them a look online. The do nice day trips to JVD, etc.

Extend our praises for Captain Phil... awesome compared to crowded Calypso.

you can also try the new pontoon boat in Coral Bay. They do all kind of day charters and booze cruises. Its called Angel's Rest.
