I'm going to the virgin islands with my friend for a week may 29th to June 5th. Is this a good time to go? We are staying
With my cousin in east Charlotte Amalie. Are there any cheap places to stay like camping or anything for a night? I don't
Want to impose on my cousin for too long. Also we aren't gonna pay for lodging outside of buying food and stuff like that.
How much spending money should my friend and I have? $600 each enough? Or? We wanted to rent an inflatable dinghy
And go to a few beaches. I don't think we would rent a car...also I'm not a shopper I'll just be eating, drinking, and going to
St John on the ferry. I really hope 5 days is enough we should have stayed longer...oh well. I'm saving as much as I can on
My meager salary, lol, but it looks like you can have a nice time on the cheap..thanks for any tips or advice...

Nate

Where does your friend live? There are camping options on STT and Water Island, but you have to apply for a spot and bring your own equipment. There's an eco-friendly lodging option on Water Island that may fit your needs. Also Cinnamon Bay on St John has camping options since they're part of the National Park system. You can google for their information and rates.
